After spotting a growing trend for remote working, our Director, Jane, formed Virtual Assistant Whiz to assist directors, managers and entrepreneurs with the kinds of tasks that were cutting into their day and preventing them from driving their businesses forward.

The power of sight and wordsWritten by VA Whiz owner, Jane Eve HorganYesterday my husband and I went to see Derren Brown’s performance of ‘showman’ in London’s West End. On the way to the theatre my hubby was constantly looking for signs along the route to identify anything memorable that Derren may possibly be using in his show. It made me think how we in business use our branding, drip feeding our avatars, tapping into their sub-conscious mind. However, without visiability such as marketing, social media, posters etc, this would not happen.During the performance, Derren has the wonderful ability to persuade people through his suggestive and persuasive talk. Getting people to do things they never would usually do. Something us business owners use on a daily basis to market and close a sale (whether we are aware of our magic ways or not!). Clearly we are not putting people into a hypnosis state of mind but knowing and having the passion that our products or services can be of benefit to those we are presenting to.
